Consultation

The portrait consultation is designed to get to know you, the interest and lifestyle of the parties to be photographed.  This information is key in designing the type of portrait that suits your needs.  You will be able to view samples of my work as a photographer and learn about the different styles and types of portraits available.  If you have any questions or concerns they will be gladly addressed.

Photo Session

Depending on where the session is scheduled - whether in the studio or on location - you’ll want to arrive well-rested and ready to go. I value your time and assure you that by arriving promptly for your scheduled appointment we will have the time to capture the desired results.

We all realize traffic around the Metroplex is growing and it is a problem. Please allow yourself plenty of time to still arrive in time for your session.

The critical elements of portraits are: expression, attractive posing, crisp lighting, and good technical quality. In essence, the photographer needs to be able to produce quality images and create variety for selection. This generally cannot happen if you are hurried or rushed.

Experience indicates that if you are tired or hurried the image cannot be made "right". Memorable images take time to create; that's the essence of how they come about. If your portrait session is at home or some other location, you can be assured that it will be scheduled at a time that is convenient.

Preview Presentation

Two options are available for viewing your proof images:

1)  Your portrait preview presentation is scheduled at your convenience, about 10 to 14 days after the session. By viewing these original images together with me, you are able to benefit from my expertise in terms of selecting the best pose and composition. As a part of the artistry of a portrait, print enhancements or retouching of complexions is addressed to make it truly a work of art. Previews are viewed at this setting and are not available to be taken, so arrangements need to be made in advance with all those involved in the selection.

2)  Your proof images can be uploaded on the internet. You will receive a password that will enable you to view the images.
